A quiet weekend

We had a quiet weekend...except for a few sneezes!

The boy is recovering from a cold, and I am frantically fighting not to get one. So we spent a lot of time reading, watching movies, and drinking at least 100 cups of tea.

Sometimes a relaxing weekend at home is just what the doctor ordered! ;)

6- Creating the 3rd page of my own Cookbook

My weekend so far...

1. We took the boy to the lake...he LOVES feeding the geese; and giggles and squeals when they get close to him! It's such a cute scene!

2. Some of my flowers...I have to admit I know absolutely nada about gardening, not even the name of these poor things. But I managed to keep them alive, that's a huge accomplishment!

3. Grilled chicken with teryaki rice...delicious.

4. Chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting!

5. A glass of Australian shiraz-cabernet to relax before bedtime...

My weekend so far...

1. I don't have to cook this weekend...a nice little break from the routine!

2. I'm working on some new layouts with the Lime Rickey collection.

3. Rainy weather is perfect to stay at home and relax!

4. One of my favourite books that I try to read at least once a year.

5. A glass of pinot grigio late at night when the house is nice and quiet...
