I has so much fun creating this page! I can't remember when was the last time I sat and sewed for hours on end...I miss designing and creating my own clothes!

I made this layout using a sketch from Lotus Paperie. I don't usually work with sketches, for some reason I'm never satisfied with the final result...I like to design my page as a go...but it was fun to try it anyway!

2x Pizza box !

Today my lovely mailman showed up with not one but TWO pizza boxes full of scrapbook goodies! It's like Christmas on April!

First one from Scenic Route. Their latest collection and best of all...FREE! It is the second part of my prize for winning the January Free for All contest. This collection is so bright, happy colourful Garden Grove Collection. I just love it!

And the second box of goodies is from Scrap My Memories. The May kit is fabulous! Lots and lots of Basic Grey Porcelain Collection. And the embellishments are to die for! This collection is so soft and sweet...I love it!

And my favourite item from the kit...stamps! Check out this beauty!

Freebies make me happy

There's something so exciting about seeing a man standing at my doorstep with a pizza box... 1) When the man in question is the pizza delivery guy 2) When it's the mailman...because it means scrapbook goodies! Even more exciting when the goodies are free!

Scenic Route selected one of my layouts for their January Free for All contest. That in itself is so rewarding! And the prize was a collection kit of our choice. Yay for freebies! Plus Scenic Route is one of my favourite manufacturers!

4 a.m. fun

Oh the days of sleep deprivation! It seems so long ago now...thank goodness! For the first 12 weeks I barely noticed the difference between day and night, or the days of the week...it all seemed like a looong endless day!

I used Scenic Route - Surprise collection. I wanted to try something different from my usual vintage style...and I have to admit, this was so much fun!
